On a guided afternoon carp fishing trip with Gran Canaria Carp Crew's Keith Gladden, Chris Morton netted a lake record of 50lb 2oz. The fish is a lake record for Lake Chira. The fish took a snowman 15mm Bait and Feed company fluoro yellow pineapple boilie with a 20mm undisclosed sinking boilie.
